Despite their name, French Bulldogs
originated in Nottingham, England.
They were created to be a toy-size
version of the Bulldog. When English
artisans lost their jobs in the Industrial
Revolution, many fled to France in search
of better opportunities, bringing their dogs
with them. Their popularity in France quickly
outpaced that in England. Loyal and loving
companions. Bat ears and flat faces.
